I began proofreading at my grandparents' newspaper at age eleven, and I haven’t stopped. In fact, I am a certified general proofreader. Then, once I discovered copyediting, everything came together for me. And now, my love of reading and words has led me to open a freelance firm specializing in both proofreading and copyediting.
Throughout my career as a healthcare compliance and privacy professional who attained and maintained rigorous certifications, I was tasked with assuming the responsibility of writing, editing, and proofreading departmental and system-wide codes of conduct, policies and procedures, educational materials, and various communications, ensuring the quality of all written work.
I am detail-oriented, and I love helping writers achieve sharp, clean, and clear content without losing their voices or their projects’ integrity. And I would love to bring clarity and precision to your words.
